Gift Card Acceptance Policy

1 General Trading Principles

CardSOFT guarantees instant payouts for genuine, valid, and unredeemed gift cards across our 23+ supported brands. To safeguard our ecosystem against fraudulent submissions and ensure speed of service, all traders must adhere to the physical scan and digital verification standards outlined in this policy.

2 Physical Gift Card Requirements

When submitting a physical plastic card, your photographic evidence must meet the following criteria:

3 Purchase & Activation Receipt Rules

Certain brands (specifically Apple, Steam, Vanilla Visa, and AMEX) frequently require proof of purchase to verify authenticity:

• Cash Receipt Priority: Cards accompanied by original cash register receipts enjoy higher exchange rates and fastest processing.
• Matching Serial Digits: The serial or barcode digits on the receipt must match the digits embossed on the physical card.
• Activation Confirmation: The store slip must show the message "Card Activated" or "Approved", confirming the cashier successfully loaded the funds.

4 Digital E-Codes & Online Vouchers

For electronic gift cards purchased online:

• Provide the original, untampered merchant screenshot showing the full claim code, serial number, and denomination.
• Type the exact code in the submission remarks to prevent manual transcription errors during audit.
• Ensure the e-code has not been exposed on public forums, chat groups, or secondary marketplaces.

5 Already Redeemed or Depleted Cards

CardSOFT audits card balances directly with merchant billing APIs and balance inquiry lines. If a submitted card is detected as already redeemed or possessing zero balance prior to our verification, the transaction will be immediately rejected with status Rejected and reasons documented. Repeated submission of depleted cards will trigger a fraud risk flag and temporary account suspension.

6 Face Value Discrepancies

If you submit a card declared as $100, but upon merchant balance inquiry the actual verified balance is $50, our auditor will calculate the payout based on the actual verified balance ($50) at the prevailing exchange rate. If the card contains an unusable non-standard amount, the trade may be rejected and returned to you.
